Project Snowman!
Holiday Season 2009

My second community art project benefiting yet another great organization.
30 snowmen are being displayed at neighborhood businesses in the Greenwood
neighborhood for one month and will be featured during monthly art walks on
November 13th & December 11th from 6-9pm.

The snow"people" are currently featured on the Greenwood-Phinney art up blog
site and will be auctioned off at a final celebration event at one of the area
businesses (see site for upcoming details). All proceeds collected will be given to
the N. Seattle Boys and Girls Club.

You can visit Snowballed in person at "Sip & Ship" on 87th and Greenwood in
Seattle. Check out my site on Flickr for more images of my snowman and check out
these other sites for images of all featured snowmen.

Project Pinguino
Summer 2009

Sixty-two Seattle artists of all ages and experience levels painted, embellished and
decorated fabricated penguins as a community celebration of art and wildlife
conservation, inspired by Woodland Park Zoo’s brand new Humboldt penguin
exhibit, which opened in May.

After its June 12th launch, Penguins on the March will begin migrating into Ballard,
Fremont and Greenwood-Phinney, where you will find individual penguins
prominently featured in front of neighborhood businesses in
July, August and September.

After migrating through Seattle, the penguins will be auctioned off to benefit
Woodland Park Zoo’s field conservation program. Woodland Park Zoo supports 38
wildlife conservation projects in 50 countries worldwide, including the Humboldt
Penguin Conservation Center at Punta San Juan.

Check out my site on Flickr for more images of my penguin and others!

Beginning Monday March 3rd and through to the end of the month, you'll find my
work hanging at "lighthouse roasters" in Fremont. They are a great little corner
coffee house that's always packed with the locals and their pooches. If you've never
been and are in the area, please feel free to check it out, they make a mean latte.

News
Greenwood/Phinney 2011 Artwalk
Friday May 13, 6pm - 9pm
Saturday May 14, 12pm - 5pm

I will be participating in this year's annual event, lovingly dubbed "the big one". The greenwood
art walk spans over 20 blocks and includes more than 100 artists and 70 local businesses. Music,
refreshments and tons of local art, it has become one of the city's biggest annual artistic events.

I am pleased to be showcasing my work at "Hip Zephyr", a clothing boutique located in the heart
of Phinney Ridge. My series of fantastical homes and abodes will be available for sale and will soon
be featured on my Etsy website.

I can highly recommend the art walk, and hope everyone will come out to support these great
artists. For more information on the art walk, including participating artists and venues as well as
a map and location of the events, please visit the official website here
